A remarkable and deeply historic headland site, extending to include a Māori pā.

Details

As part of a larger, ongoing project, the approach was simple: deliberately light-touch with respect to the natural order of the landscape.

Seating areas were introduced and protective cliff-top fencing helped ensure the land can be safely enjoyed while preserving the natural heritage and character of the site.
