A fully restored home supported by a garden low in maintenance yet all together elegant.
Details
Following the restoration of the house, the landscape was reimagined as an elegant extension of the architecture.
The existing garden was fragmented into a series of small patio areas, each competing for space and limiting their use, so a more integrated design approach was employed to allow better flow.
The proposal brings these spaces together as a series of generous terraces, creating a more fluid relationship between house and garden.
What we ended up with, was a landscape that feels open and composed, with a simplicity of structure that allows the architecture and planting to take precedence.
