A planting scheme for 1050, a boutique urban enclave in the heart of Remuera Village.
Details
The landscape was designed to complement the warmth and refinement of the architectural refurbishment by Bureaux, introducing layers of planting that soften the built environment and create a series of intimate green pockets between the elegant shopping precinct and dining pavilions.
This is a space that encourages community.
Planting featured considered layers of trees, shrubs and groundcovers bringing texture, seasonal interest and a sense of permanence to the development.
The gardens feel connected to the village setting, while providing a generous counterpoint to the surrounding architecture.
